What's All This About?

This has been a life-long journey of thought and faith, not always in that order.

My entries here are, in essence, my journal. A place for me to put down and organize thoughts and ideas that for, whatever reason, won't leave my head. I write alot about Alien Jesus, but I write about other things, too. It's a journey. So each category should be read from oldest to newest. By reading in that order, you will see and participate in the evolution.

I write and edit in stream of consciousness, and it normally takes a few efforts through the ideas to fully lay them out and present them. The result is not a style or a flow that really clings to outline...it's an evolution of an idea from start to finish. If you're sharp, you will catch that I reference other works of literature or pop culture or religious works almost constantly. I just don't cite because of my writing style. Maybe one day I will go back and annotate. But despite a present lack of, I attest that the works within the Annunaki category are deeply rooted in a hairball of sources.

The book (to be an ordered collection of these entries), as yet untitled, is a narrative that joins Sumerian, Akkadian, and Babylonian deities to those of the Christian Bible, and then adds depth with Ancient Astronaut Theory. My Biblical premise is that the various names the Hebrews used for God throughout the Bible were actual names of separate deities. Different characters, not just different names. So, I apply those characters and imagine from there, all the way to the theological conclusions of having done so. So it's fun...but it just might be serious.

The result is a thought exercise designed to add perspective to truth, not replace it. If this were a book in a bookstore, it would be fiction. But, by turning the prism of history, and holding it up to the light, we may see added color from the same truth-prism. To the extent that this added color adds to your own faith experience, I am happy to share my thoughts. If nothing else, it's fun to tell an old story in a new way.
